We've found the most convenient way to reach Byron Bay is by flying directly to Gold Coast Airport.
We recommend hiring a car on arrival, however there are alternate transportation options available.
The drive from the Gold Coast to Byron Bay takes around 45 minutes.
The Sunseeker is our favourite place to stay in Byron when it's just the two of us. This 80's motel has been completely reimagined for the modern conscious traveller. Nestled just outside of the main town but still within reach of all of Byron's must-do's, it's the perfect base. With a cute coffee cart on site for your morning coffee and a cheeky merch purchase you can't go wrong here!
Fun fact: Alexander was conceived here pre renos in 1993.
